INTRODUCTION

The MBA + Master in Big Data and Business Intelligence aims to provide its students with a global and globalised view from a management position of Big Data technologies and its usefulness in achieving business objectives. It also provides an applied and practical training in analytical techniques for business (Business Analytics) preparing the student for the current demand in this workplace that requires professionals to handle large volumes of data.

Students who complete this double degree will have more opportunities to be in management positions in any departments of a company or organisation; since this program is an added value to the curriculum vitae of our students.

This Master is aimed at professionals with or without experience, who wish to focus on the new professions related to data analysis (Data Analyst, Data Scientists, Chief Data Officer, Data Engineer, etc.) and enables you to fill any position management in a company in the departments of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations and General Management.

Upon completion of this master, students will have sufficient potential to cover some of these specialised profiles, being able to extract valuable knowledge from large volumes of data, guiding the business decisions of different companies and institutions, this being the new focus strategic in which many companies are advancing.

The master also includes the latest trends in business strategy and team management so that the student is not only able to relate and analyse the data but can apply them and manage them in the direction and management of teams.

DISTANCE LEARNING METHOD

In order to facilitate combining personal and professional life, all our training programs are carried out entirely online. Thus, students can access the whole training content through our Virtual Campus. It’s our main platform that allows our students to study from anywhere in the world and at any time. All evaluations and final works are also submitted online.

Once enrolled, our students have access to the Virtual Campus where they can find all necessary academic resources, establish a permanent communication with other students and teachers, gain access to discussion forums, take the English Business course, among many other possibilities.

EVALUATION

Consistency is one of the key aspects in the training plan. By means of self-assessments provided through the Virtual Campus, our students will be able to reinforce the acquired knowledge. In order to pass all the subjects, it is essential to submit a final paper for each of them. When our team of tutors have evaluated the final work, the student will be able to see their final mark in the Virtual Campus. In addition, a document explaining in detail all points of their final work will be sent to their email.

In the evaluation, our tutors assess the following aspects:

  • Presentation, design, visual richness and spelling.
  • Development of the topic, complexity of the statement, logic and consistency with the results obtained in the case study.
  • Added value in the analysis and development of the proposed case. 

It needs to be pointed out that all the self-assessments and final papers must be given a minimum grade of 5 to pass each of the subjects.

Geographical Mobility Scholarship: Intended for all applicants who wish to study from anywhere in the world and thus, acquire a global view of the business world.

In addition, we help finance our students’ tuition. We have three different modes of payment:

  • By debit/credit card. We will give you a 10% discount if you choose to pay by card.
  • Bank transfer. We offer the possibility of paying in two instalments.
  • Direct debit in 11 instalments. We finance your studies without a deposit or interest applied.
