Name and surname: Ione Kima Martín Larrea
City: Donostia- San Sebastián
Training program carried out in ENEB: Postgraduate Program in Coaching, NLP and Team Leadership with Cum Laude honours. Master’s degree in Management and Team Management.
Job position: Primary school teacher.
What motivated you to participate in that training program? Why ENEB?
I received some basic training on shared leadership in a training at the school, and the subject was interesting and useful in my workplace, so I decided to keep learning about it. I was clear that the training had to be online and ENEB offered the flexibility I needed to combine studies and work.
Professionally speaking, what are your short and long-term objectives?
I’m a restless person and I love learning new things to try to improve. Next year, I’ll start a new stage as head of the Innovation Team of the educational centre where I work. I’m also broadening my knowledge with ENEB’s Master in Management and Team Management.
Was it difficult for you to reconcile work and study?
Working and studying is always difficult, but it’s all about being organized and finding the time. The flexibility that ENEB provides helps with this organization. I set my own deadlines for the assignments, and spent more time studying during holiday periods.
Which subject did you find most useful?
The subject of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), since it was the only one that was not applied on a closed case, but you had to build the case and solve it with the theoretical material provided. I applied it to my work situation. It was the most difficult assignment for me, but it was also the one I learned the most with and it could be applied to my reality.
What would you single out from your experience with ENEB?
I’d emphasize that all the assignments involve the practical application of the theory, which helps you to better understand the contents. Although most of the case studies were focused on work areas very different from mine, it was very enriching to focus on case studies and solve them.
I’d also single out the effectiveness of ENEB staff. I contacted them when I needed it, and they gave me a quick answer to all my questions.
